Create a beautiful succulent arrangement in our guided virtual workshop.
Join us for a wonderful opportunity to create a beautiful succulent arrangement for your home garden (via Zoom from the comfort of your own home).
Registration for the workshop includes materials you'll need to make your succulent arrangement; you will receive a plant kit in the mail which includes: a beautiful hand-thrown glazed planter, 3 small live succulent plants, a small packet of soil+fertilizer, gravel and a small instruction sheet for other tools (i.e. scissors, gardening gloves) you may need to gather from your household before the workshop.
The workshop will start with an introduction to the materials received in your succulent kit; then, you will be guided on how to assemble all the materials into a beautiful thriving arrangement for your succulent garden collection.
Experienced Landscape Designer (and Plant Guru) Travis Brooks will provide some helpful tips on how to care for your plant, and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and dialog about the world of succulents and California native / drought-tolerant plants, and how to keep them happy. We hope that this workshop will be a series of workshops that will deepen your understanding of our green children and how to be a new plant parent. Come play with us!
Note: Class size is limited to 10-12 students, so that there is enough attention given to students. Also, a generous portion of the proceeds from your purchase of this class helps us fundraise for Our Little Stand's Give Back Program, which aims to provide creative skill-based training workshops to communities in need, and to those less fortunate who don't have access to these resources.
