Air plants are an effortless way to bring some greenery into your home and are fairly easy to care for. This ceramic air plant holder adds an elegant boho touch to your home and can easily be hung on a small nail or thumb tack or strung through a light filled window rod, or hung using an S hook. Air plants really strive when facing indirect light.
Hand built from a terra cotta clay body, and finished with terra sigilatta. Fired to high temperature in my home kiln.
Approximate dimensions: Measuring 3.375" wide and hangs at 8" down. This plant holder is put together using natural hemp cord.

About the maker
Female founder Asmaa Aman-Tran, a fiber artist and ceramicist behind Hand & Fiber, currently resides in Boston with her husband Chris, and daughter Nylaa. She was born in Casablanca, Morocco and spent most of her life there before moving to Boston. Having grown up in such an exceptional and diverse culture with all its colors and wonders, her work reflects the diversity in its many forms.
Asmaa discovered weaving in 2016, and has not stopped exploring the endless possibilities and freedom that the textile art offers. Her work celebrates her Moroccan artisanal heritage and cultural art. She takes Moroccan traditional techniques and weaves her heritage into pieces. Lambskin meets copper, wool meets clay - all while incorporating metallic silver sequins to her woven pieces by hand knotting.
Her work is about sharing the richness of her Moroccan roots through exceptional techniques and mediums to make something truly special. Every piece is intended to be unique, in a very limited quantity.
